Abstract

Se revela un aspecto esencial en el Inca Garcilaso de la Vega: ser el fundador de la identidad peruana. Dado que el Perú nació como fruto del mestizaje de indios y españoles, la identidad peruana radica justamente en ese mestizaje; la peruanidad es la síntesis de lo andino y lo europeo, es la reunión armoniosa de ambos mundos.
